A Note from our President –
This is a busy time of year with, Spring Break, Easter and Passover. But, there’s still time to come out and enjoy the Spring weather and the great Newcomers activities we’ve planned.
The Madwoman’s Bake Shop sure sounds intriguing. Meet us there for Coffee to check it out. The Landmark Center offers two Urban Expeditions for us to sample this month. Bring the kids along on these fun and educational International Afternoons.
Can’t make it to the Landmark Center? Join us for authentic Vietnamese cuisine at this month’s Luncheon at Cam Rahn Bay in Eden Prairie.

INTERNATIONAL AFTERNOON––Sunday, April 15th, 1-3PM––Urban Expedition: Vietnam

Landmark’s free programs offer our members and families the chance to experience international music, dance, arts & crafts and more without leaving St. Paul. This month’s “destination” is one of the world’s most vibrant cultures, and the program will feature dancing, music, films, food, and so much more.

WANDERERS––Thursday, April 26th, 11:00AM Tour––Art in Bloom Exhibit
Minneapolis Institute of Art, 2400 3rd Ave. South, Mpls.
The annual Art in Bloom exhibit at the MIA is one of Spring’s highlights in the Twin Cities. It combines timeless art and fresh flowers in a most unique way. Over 100 floral designers interpret works of art in the museum’s collection with beautiful, creative floral arrangements. Other lavish floral displays embellish the museum outside the galleries. Complimentary tours given by volunteer docents point out some of the more interesting arrangements. Entrance to the museum is free.

Morocco embodies a rich cultural heritage as a North African nation and its proximity to the Middle East. On our “visit” we’ll engage with that heritage through a variety of diversions and delights.
